Briefly and without legalese: what we collect about you, why, how long we keep it and what you can do about it.

What data we collect
Only what you write into the booking or non-binding enquiry form yourself:
- First name and surname
- E-mail address
- Phone number
- Cruise details – date, time, number of people, note
- Optionally the name of your company or institution
In addition, the server routinely logs the IP address and technical details of the request – that is a normal part of running a website.
Why we process it
- Handling a booking or an enquiry. Without a name, phone number and e-mail we cannot confirm your cruise or text you the pier number. The legal basis is performance of a contract, or steps taken prior to entering into it.
- Accounting. If a payment is made, we keep the documents in line with the accounting act and tax regulations.
Form data is never used for bulk marketing mailings and is never sold to anyone else.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that did not go ahead – no longer than 12 months from the last contact.
- Completed bookings – for the period required by accounting and tax regulations.
Who we pass it on to
Only to processors without whom we could not run the website and the service – the hosting provider, the e-mail service and the operator of the boat that runs your cruise. All of them are bound by confidentiality.
Form protection
The forms on this website are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which tells humans from bots without annoying picture tests. In doing so, Cloudflare processes technical data about your browser and your IP address. You will find the details in the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Cookies
The website only uses a technical session cookie that holds a form submission together and protects it against misuse. It does not require consent and we do not track anything across websites with it.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. Just write to info@plavbypovltave.cz – we will get back to you within a month.
