An hour of calm in the middle of the pre-Christmas rush. Mulled wine, a plate of Christmas biscuits, carols and a festively decorated boat sailing through a quiet city centre.

Advent in Prague is lovely until you reach Old Town Square. On the river it is calm – the boat glides past the floodlit embankments, steam rises from your mulled wine and carols play over the speakers.
The price includes one plate of Christmas biscuits per paying person and one hot drink of your choice. Anyone who wants a refill or something extra can buy it at the bar. Children under 3 sail free; biscuits and a drink can be bought for them on board.
The boat is decorated for Christmas, the lower deck is heated and you can step out onto the terrace for a photograph. The hour passes quickly, but it is an hour after which you go back into the city in a different mood.
